Volunteering Information

A Message from our Volunteer and Event Coordinator

Dear Classical Prep Families,

We need your support! At Classical Prep we believe that the education of the child must involve the student, the teacher, and the parent. At the request of the teacher, families are welcome to read, tutor, or help with clerical duties. They may offer to help maintain the beauty of our campus, assist in the library, help organize Parent Standing Committee activities, help in the school offices or participate in student clubs. In order to volunteer on campus, families will need to complete the Pasco County School District’s volunteer application by clicking HERE. All applications must be submitted annually, after July 1st of each year. Some opportunities may require parents to undergo a fingerprint clearance before working directly with students.

We know that finding time in your busy schedules can be challenging, and we are committed to  keeping this information up to date to show opportunities that fit your schedule best through our Parent Square communication app. It is important to get this account set up, so you can see opportunities to serve or attend meetings/events throughout the school year.

Families of enrolled students at Classical Prep are required to serve a minimum of 10 service hours per year. It is the responsibility of each family to record their service hours. Service hours for the current school year must be completed by the last day of school.

Please feel free to contact me with questions at 813-803-7903 or by email at info@classicalprep.org. Thank you for your support and dedication to our scholars and school!
