Volunteering at Classical Prep

We need your support! At Classical Prep, we believe that the education of the child must involve the student, the teacher, and the parent. At the request of the teacher, families are welcome to read, tutor, or help with clerical duties. They may offer to help maintain the beauty of our campus, assist in the library, help organize Parent Standing Committee activities, help in the school offices, or participate in student clubs. 

In order to volunteer on campus, all volunteers will be required to complete a Level 2 background screening every five (5) years and complete the Raptor Volunteer Application yearly. This background check will review records in the state of Florida as well as the national FBI database. The cost for this screening is $41.25 and volunteers will be responsible for paying this cost. The school will pay the yearly monitoring fee for each volunteer. If you do not submit a new Raptor Volunteer Application by the deadline provided, you will be responsible for the cost associated with a new background screening. We know that finding time in your busy schedules can be challenging, and we are committed to keeping volunteer information up to date to show opportunities that fit your schedule best. We use signup.com to post upcoming volunteer opportunities. Please click the button below to set up your signup.com account and view the available volunteer opportunities. It is also important to set up your myStudent account where we will send out monthly volunteer opportunity emails throughout the school year.  

Families of scholars enrolled at Classical Prep are required to serve a minimum of 10 volunteer hours per year. Service hours for the current school year must be completed by the last day of school.
