Coaches’ Corner

Classical Preparatory School utilizes Home Campus to manage all athletic eligibility and clearance requirements. Every scholar-athlete must create a Home Campus profile and complete each step of the registration process. A parent or guardian and the scholar-athlete are required to review, acknowledge, and electronically sign all required forms. Paper copies of eligibility documents will no longer be accepted, as all forms and supporting documentation must be submitted through Home Campus. Once all required documents have been uploaded and all electronic acknowledgments and signatures have been completed, the Athletic Director will review the submission and determine the scholar-athlete’s athletic clearance status. Scholar-athletes are not permitted to participate in tryouts, practices, scrimmages, or athletic contests until they have been officially cleared by the Athletic Director. Please follow the steps below to complete the registration process.

In order to upload required documents to Home Campus, you will need to first set up an account. 

I. Visit www.homecampus.com

1. Select Parents & Students and then click Florida
2. New Users: Create an account with a valid parent/guardian email as your username and password.
3. Returning Users: Log in with your email and password from the previous school year.

II. Select Start Clearance Here

1. Select Florida and choose your school year, school (Classical Prep), and sport(s).
2. If you plan to participate in more than one sport, add all the sports now by using the Add New Sport option.  **If you think you may be interested in the sport later on in the year, please select it now. We can always remove it in the future.**
   • If you are adding a sport to an existing clearance, click the + sport button and verify your application data.

III. Complete all Required Sections

1. Fill in your scholar’s information, parent/guardian’s information, medical history, and signature forms. 
2. Returning Users: Select the name(s) used previously and most information will autopopulate. 
3. Signatures must be an exact match of what’s on the Student & Parent/Guardian page. 
4. Upload required files (physical forms, ECG forms, NFHS videos, etc.). If you want to use an existing document, use the Choose Existing File button to reuse a prior uploaded document. 
5. Submit & Wait for Confirmation
   • Click Submit Completed Application. 
   • You will see a confirmation message saying that your clearance is now submitted for school review. 
   • IMPORTANT!! The Scholar is NOT clear yet. The school must review and approve the application before they can participate. 
   • You will receive an email notification once the school has cleared your student. 
     • If something is wrong with the application, you will receive an email explaining the details of the decision. 

Athletic Fees

Athletes may participate in tryouts at no cost. All athletic fees must be paid in full within three (3) days after the athlete makes the team.  Failure to pay by the deadline may result in removal from the team. Please note the fees do not guarantee playing time, only the opportunity to be on the team if selected.  Athletic fees may be paid online using the form below.

Athletic fees are as follows:

• First sport: $90.00
• Second sport: $60.00
• Individual athletic fee cap: $150.00
• Family athletic fee cap: $240.00 (applies to immediate family members attending the same school)

Grammar School Athletics (Kindergarten – 5th Grade)

Logic School Athletics (6th-8th Grade)

Rhetoric School Athletics (9th – 12th Grade)
