PikMyKid is our new dismissal system for our Borealis Carline (grades 6-12) and Meridian Carline (grades K-5). The unique features of PikMyKid allow you, as parents, to change pick-up modes easily, quickly delegate to an alternate individual for pickup, change to an ‘After School’ program, and even schedule for future pickup mode, pickup individual, and after-school programs. This app allows you to control your child’s dismissal fully. It gives us, the school, complete information regarding dismissal and the ability to acknowledge every change and instantly check your child’s dismissal status should you have a question.

How To Use PikMyKid
Step 1: Register Your Account
- Download the FREE PikMyKid app through your phone’s Apple or Android store.
- Open the app, select “Register A New Account,” and follow the instructions. You will verify your phone number and email address to complete registration.
- PikMyKid will automatically connect you to your 6th-12th grade child(ren) ONLY if the phone number you used to register matches the primary contact phone number in myStudent.
Step 2: Add a Delegate to your account
- Open the PikMyKid app and select “Account” on the bottom bar.
- Select “Manage Contacts.”
- Select “Open Phonebook” to add an emergency contact from your contacts.
- Select the contact you would like to add, and it will auto-populate the contact information. Click save.
- Using these steps, anyone added to your emergency contact list in PikMyKid will need to download the app and register their own PikMyKid account. They will need to verify their email address and phone number.
- Once they are added to your contact list from PikMyKid, you will need to assign them as a pickup person using the calendar (steps below). If they are not assigned specific pickup days, the child(ren) will not show up on their account.
Step 3: Assign a pickup person using the Calendar
- Open the app and select the “Children” icon on the bottom bar.
- Select a child. You will have to select each child individually to set their dismissal.
- This will open up the calendar view for that child.
- Select the day(s) on the calendar.
- Select “Change Pickup,” and it will allow you to select the pickup mode and pickup person. You will be able to choose the frequency of this dismissal.
- In order for a delegate to pick up on campus, these changes must be made before 2:00 p.m. in the PikMyKid app.
Step 4: Announce you are on campus using the PikMyKid app on Tuesday, April 25th, to pick up your child(ren).
- Display your new printed cartag (handed to you today in carline) on the passenger’s side dashboard.
- Open the PikMyKid app on your phone. Make sure that the location services are turned on in the app.
- Select the “Pickup” icon on the bottom bar.
- The child(ren) attached to your account will show up on this screen.
- Select the child(ren) you are picking up that day.
- Hit the green ANNOUNCE button. This notifies the teachers to release these scholars to the front porch.
