Staff Spotlight: Inspiring Young Minds in Kindergarten!

By March 7, 2025No Comments

Teacher with StudentsMeet Mrs. Hogan, one of our incredible Kindergarten teachers at Classical Prep!

A part of the Classical Prep family since its founding 11 years ago, Mrs. Hogan has been instrumental in shaping the lives of countless young scholars. Her dedication and passion for classical education shines in everything she does! She shares:

“I believe that classical education offers a rigorous, engaging learning environment. What makes classical education different from a more progressive approach is that, along with the basic reading, writing, and arithmetic, there is a focus on classical literature, music, art, and a broad historical insight that allows connections to be made between past and present. Lessons are based on teacher-directed and hands-on activities that provide opportunities for both group and individual participation with the goal of fostering curiosity about the world around us. Starting this experience in Kindergarten allows for a solid foundation as they continue to grow into lifelong learners.”

At Classical Prep, we believe in starting strong! In Kindergarten, our scholars begin building a foundation of critical thinking, creativity, and curiosity—skills that prepare them not just for school but for life. Thank you, Mrs. Hogan for your dedication to shaping bright futures!
