Coach Alonso is honored to serve as the Athletic Director at Classical Preparatory School. After spending his career as a high school teacher and football coach, he is excited to lead a program that develops scholars through competition, character, and teamwork. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, which complements his passion for building strong, organized, and successful athletic programs.

A lifelong athlete, Coach Alonso has been involved in sports throughout his life and continued competing through college. His passion for athletics naturally led to a career in coaching, where he has dedicated himself to helping young people grow both on and off the field. In addition to his role at Classical Prep, he leads a youth football and cheer organization, continuing his commitment to providing positive opportunities for young athletes in the community.

Outside of athletics, Coach Alonso enjoys spending time with his wife, Christy, and their blended family of seven children. He believes athletics is about much more than winning; it is an opportunity to build confidence, leadership, discipline, and lasting relationships. He looks forward to partnering with coaches, students, and families to build an athletic program that reflects the values and excellence of Classical Preparatory School.
