As we come together on Friday, September 11, to honor those who lost their lives and remember the courage, unity, and strength that emerged in the face of unimaginable loss, let’s show our support for our nation by wearing red, white, and blue.

On Friday, September 11, Classical Prep scholars will spend time learning about the events of September 11, 2001. Through these commemorations, scholars will reflect on the courage of first responders, the compassion of communities, and the strength of a nation that came together during a time of profound loss.

As we remember the lives impacted by that day, we also honor the enduring values of hope, resilience, service, and unity. September 11 serves as a reminder of our shared humanity and the meaningful difference we can make when we come together with courage, kindness, and compassion.

Rules for Dress Down Day:

This dress-down day is FREE for all scholars. The PRIMARY colors that the scholar should wear are red, white and blue. We want to maintain a positive and productive learning environment for all scholars.

Scholars who are participating are expected to adhere to the Rules of Appearance and Dress outlined on pages 34-35 of the Student Code of Conduct.

Please keep in mind:

• No wigs, hair color, or face paint allowed.
• No full-face or masquerade masks are allowed.
• No elaborate or difficult-to-sit-in clothing is allowed.
• Scholars must be able to use the restroom without assistance.
• No jeans, pants, or shorts with rips, frayed hems (or edges), or holes.
• Shorts/bottoms may not be shorter than three (3) inches above the knee.
• No pajamas or costumes.
• No open-toed shoes.
• No slippers or similar footwear such as Crocs or shoes without backs.
• No leggings, yoga pants, spandex, tights, or similar clothing.
• No hats or bandanas.
• No hoodies or hooded clothing.
• No crop tops or shirts that expose the belly button/skin when arms are raised

Violations will result in disciplinary consequences, and scholars will sit in the front office until a change of clothes is delivered.

Grammar Families: Scholar drop-off at Borealis is NOT PERMITTED. Please use the designated morning carline/drop-off location each day.

Logic/Rhetoric Families: Please help us keep morning carline in Borealis moving! Scholars should unload from the front of Borealis to the gate of the Gym.

Following the established drop-off procedures helps us maintain a safe, organized, and efficient arrival for all scholars, families, and staff.

Plan Ahead for a Successful School Year!

Every instructional day matters! We encourage families to save the graphic below as a helpful reference for scheduled days off during the 2026–2027 school year, including holidays, early release days, and teacher planning days.

When possible, please plan family trips, appointments, and other commitments around these scheduled breaks. Regular attendance helps scholars stay engaged, build strong learning habits, and make the most of the instruction and experiences happening in the classroom each day.

As an added benefit for families who have completed the volunteer application process, we are offering two (2) volunteer hours towards your family’s ten (10) required volunteer hours. Celebrate our 5th grade scholars’ final year in Grammar School and our 8th grade scholars’ final year in Logic School with their official 2026-27 class shirts! Over the summer, families voted on their favorite designs and colors, and we love how the winning shirts turned out.

Class shirts are available for $15.00 through Monday, September 7. This is the only opportunity to order; we will not accept purchases after the deadline.

Scholars who purchased the 2026-27 Spirit Savings Bundle may wear their class shirt in place of their spirit shirt on designated Spirit Shirt Days.

A Dino-Mite Mother & Son Adventure is Coming!

Join us on October 3 at 2:00 PM for a ROAR-some afternoon of dinosaur-themed games, activities, tasty snacks, and prehistoric fun!

Every explorer needs an adventure buddy! Bring Mom or another special person in your life, like Grandma, an aunt, or a family friend, to join you for the fun.

Tickets are $25 per pair, with additional tickets available for $5 each for another son or special guest.

Dress in your best explorer outfit and get ready to dig up some fun and make special memories together!

The AP Exam Fees Form is now available on our website. Families of scholars taking AP exams may now submit exam fee payments HERE.

Please complete the form and submit all applicable fees by Friday, October 30, 2026.

If your child needs an additional copy of their AP Contract, a link to it is provided with the payment form.
