At Classical Prep, the enrichment associate’s role is to lead scholars in pursuing the school’s goals and mission.
Overview
- Position: Full-time, 10-month, exempt
- Work Schedule: 7:20 AM – 3:45 PM daily, 192 days, plus occasional nights and weekends as necessary
- Benefits: Insurance benefits the first of the month following 60 days of full-time employment, a 3% match of employee retirement contribution, and 7 days of PTO
- Reports to Grammar School Dean
- Starting Salary: $36,000
- Additional Compensation: Eligible for referendum supplement

Specific tasks required of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
Primary Duties:
- Plan and teach engaging enrichment lessons for K–5 scholars
- Facilitate hands-on, tactile learning experiences that promote creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving
- Lead activities such as:
- LEGO building and design challenges
- Manipulative-based learning stations
- Typing and keyboarding instruction
- Fine motor and creative projects
- Collaborative and interactive lessons
- Foster a positive, structured, and encouraging classroom environment
- Manage scholar behavior in alignment with school expectations and procedures
- Differentiate activities to support varying developmental and learning needs
- Maintain organization, cleanliness, and inventory of classroom materials and supplies
- Incorporate technology appropriately into enrichment instruction
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, staff, and administrators regarding scholar behavior, needs, and progress
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities as required
- Ensure scholar safety and proper use of classroom tools and materials
Other Duties:
- Provide testing support to the Assessment and Academic Data Specialist.

- Ability to lead groups of scholars across campus from the classroom to the library daily

Overtime Eligibility: This job is exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Evaluation: Performance will be evaluated in accordance with Classical Preparatory School’s evaluation rubric.
