Re-enrollment Information for current families

Greetings Current Classical Prep Families,

As you may have heard, Open Enrollment is now underway for the 2019-2020 school year. It is an exciting time as new families enter their child(ren) into the lottery to join our Classical Prep family. To avoid any confusion, we wanted to be clear on the difference between Open Enrollment and Re-enrollment.

Open Enrollment is the time period in which students that do not currently attend any Classical Prep program or grade level are entered into the lottery for the opportunity to attend Classical Prep for the 2019-2020 school year. Families interested in entering their child(ren) into the lottery can visit www.ClassicalPrep.org/Admissions. The lottery for all new students will be held on March 1, 2019.

Re-enrollment is the process that takes place for all students that are currently enrolled in any Classical Prep program or grade level (Toddlers through 11th grade). During the re-enrollment period, current Classical Prep students have the opportunity to secure his/her seat for the 2019-2020 school year.

Re-enrollment for all students in our Early Academy will take place from January 21, 2019 through February 1, 2019. All necessary paperwork to complete the re-enrollment process will be sent home with your scholar the week before re-enrollment begins.

Re-enrollment for all students in Kindergarten through 11th grade will take place from April 1, 2019 through April 5, 2019. At the time of re-enrollment, any updated forms that need to be completed will be made available online and the Annual Fee will be collected.  More details about the 2019-2020 fees will be available in the coming months.

If a parent does not complete the re-enrollment process during the given time period, their child’s seat will not be reserved for the following school year. Any child that does not have a seat reserved during the re-enrollment period will need to go through the lottery process to gain admission to Classical Prep for the following school year if they wish to attend. Siblings of currently enrolled students do not apply through re-enrollment.  They must complete the lottery application process during Open Enrollment and be given the applicable sibling preference.
