Coach Malloy

Volleyball and Basketball

Classical Prep is excited to introduce Coach Malloy. She has 3 years of coaching experience at the Logic and Rhetoric School level.
After taking a year off from coaching to run the athletic department at a local school as an Athletic Director, she is excited to jump back into the world of coaching athletes!
Her coaching philosophy is one that develops the athlete as a whole in order to create a passion for the game while also developing character and habits that align with Classical Preparatory School.

Coach Brad Paul

Track and Field

Starting 2019, I had begun coaching Rhetoric and Logic School Track & Field teams at Classical Prep. We had a very successful season before the pandemic of COVID-19, with several athletes setting new Classical Preparatory School records.

I ran cross country, indoor track and outdoor track in high school and college.  Since then I have continued to train and compete in road races ranging from 5Ks to marathons.  Summer of 2020 will mark my eleventh Peachtree Road Race 10K in Atlanta, and my next marathon will be in November 2020.

Sports and exercise can provide lifelong benefits.  My goals are to teach athletes the basic fitness skills and to inspire a passion for fitness and competition.

Coach Randy Paul

Coach Randy brings several years of coaching and playing soccer.

I believe that as much as we enjoy winning, it cannot come at the expense of the overall experience.

Coach Ramirez

Football and Basketball

Coach Ramirez has been with Classical Prep since inception as a Lion parent and has coached various CPS sports over the last 3 years. He has been coaching for over 15 years and has developed many talented athletes along the way. Coaching with passion has been his mantra over the years and he prides himself with many successful victories.
His coaching philosophy is very simple, “Don’t let fear and anger cloud your ability to be a true competitor!” The competition, whether it is in a game or real life situations is within you. Never let fear or anger tarnish your character or cloud your ability to persevere. The only way to truly “lose” is to give up on yourself. You will never be successful if you quit. His goal is to push the athletes to their fullest potential so they can be successful in the game of life!

Coach Veitkus

As well-rounded, classically-educated, human beings, we rejoice in the strength both of mind and body. We celebrate our athletes’ ability to rise to the mental and physical demands of performance. We also recognize and foster our scholars’ ability to work within a team dynamic where they cooperate and support each other, rising above their individual concerns to become part of something bigger than themselves.

This is excellent preparation for scholars’ rise to cooperation and leadership in a self-governing society.

Coach Zimmerman

Cheerleading, Volleyball and Basketball

Coach Zimmerman has been coaching cheer for 6 years. She also coaches Logic volleyball, J.V. Rhetoric volleyball, and Logic girls basketball alongside Coach Malloy.
Her coaching philosophy is one that focuses on teaching skills while advancing a love for the sport. She strives to develop leaders both on and off the court while seeking to create a strong sense of school pride.
Go Lions!
