Eighth Grade Reading List

All rising into eighth grade students must read the required book choice at their grade level and in a one page essay answer the following question: What does 1776 teach us about (1) the importance of virtuous leadership and (2) the ideas of the American Revolution? Students must also read one additional book of their choice from the approved book list at their grade level, and then complete a one page written summary. Each assignment will be turned in for credit on the first day of school.
